Start your journey by simply stepping aboard our catamaran at Cullen Bay's magnificent marina. View the million dollar houses and boats as we enter the lock. Marvel at the engineering feat that controls Darwin's huge tropical tides. Now we hoist sails for a truly nature based experience on Darwin's massive harbour. The twin hulls of our catamaran guarantees stability for novice sailors and the peace and quiet under sail must be experienced to be appreciated. This is the perfect platform, close to the water, for viewing the harbour wildlife with the City of Darwin as a back drop. Sail from Cullen Bay past the sandbar and Fannie Bay and across to Woods's Inlet to see the crocodile trap. This mangrove habitat is rich in marine and bird life. Quiet sailing increases your chance to see dolphins, turtles, sea snakes and dugongs.
Chat with our friendly, knowledgeable crew about Darwin, the harbour, marine systems and wildlife. City of Darwin cruises are Eco certified products and will include you in their marine life survey and harbour clean up if you are interested.
Enjoy a sausage sandwich with onions and tomato sauce straight off the bbq a real Aussie tradition together with a tropical fruit platter and plenty of cool drinks.
There may be time on this cruise for a swim on our cargo net or to visit Mica Beach or the famous Darwin Sand Bar. (Seasonal and tide dependant)
