Transfer Info:
Hamilton Island Airport Arrival
- On arrival at Hamilton Island Airport, members of the Hamilton Island team will greet passengers with complimentary coaches for transfer to guest accommodation.
Luggage Collection
- Upon arrival at Hamilton Island airport, guests will need to identify their luggage before boarding their transfers to the accommodation. Once the luggage has been identified, the porters will transfer it to guests room.
Transfers to Hamilton Island are not provided by the hotel, but may be booked at an additional cost with the following operators
By Air
- Aviation Tourism Australia provide small aircraft transfers direct from Mackay and Proserpine.
From Shute Harbour
- Fantasea Cruises Blue Ferries offers a launch transfer from Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island Marina.
From Abel Point Marina
- Cruise Whitsundays offers a launch transfer from Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island Airport.
From Proserpine Airport
- Whitsunday Transit and Whitsunday Shuttle Service offer a coach transfer to Shute Harbour.

Please make your way to the Sunlover Holidays desk, located at the end of the breezeway, upon arrival at Hamilton Island Airport. Our representative will give you a Welcome Letter with our Call Centre contact number if you need any assistance once your holiday is underway, show you where to collect your luggage and point you in the right direction for your transfer to Hamilton Island Resort or your next destination.
Our Meet and Greet Service is available for all flights into Hamilton Island.

- Hours of operation for Room Service is as follows:
11.30am to 9.00pm: Full Room Service menu.
9.00pm to Midnight: Limited Room Service menu.
Midnight to 6.30am: No Room Service.
Pool Closure valid for 10MAY10-10JUN10:
- The Hamilton Island Main Pool (located near the Resort Centre) will be undergoing renovations and will therefore be closed for use.
- During this time guests will still have access to Hamilton Island's remaining pools including the Dolphin Pool (located in the Resort Centre), Reef View Hotel and Whitsunday Holiday Apartment pools, Bougainvilea Pool and Beach Club pool (for Beach Club guests only). ~~~~
