Important Information:
Construction Work:
Adjacent to Quay West Resort Bunker Bay:
- Several homes are being built on land adjacent to the Resort.
- Currently no time limit has been put in place for the duration of this work, so this will be a continuation at this point.
- The work is being conducted from Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 6.00pm, inclusive and Saturday 8.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive.
- There are 26 blocks of which about 6 have homes and the rest are still waiting for the owners, additionally no time limit exists for owners to build on this land.
- The amount of workers that will be undertaking each project is approximately between 20 people a day depending on the project.
- Machinery and tools which will be in use during the construction phase will consist of trucks, cranes, power tools drills, hammers, saws.
- As a result of the construction there has been noise and visual disturbance, however this does entirely depend on the work undertaken and is not necessarily every day.
The Resort:
- As the work is not currently being undertaken on any of the Resorts 35 acres, facilities will not be affected and will operate as per usual.
- Nearest guest rooms are 50 feet away and the pool and other facilities are approximately 500+ feet away.
